SLI's Senior Test Manager, Michael Santos, was in Manila last week to support the turnover of voting system source code that had been reviewed and certified by SLI, to the Republic of the Philippine's Commission on Elections (COMELEC). This software is an integral part of the system that will be used in the 2013 national elections being held this month.

SLI’s ONC Testing Team is excited to announce that in February they completed their first Stage 2 testing engagement for an Electronic Health Record product. The product was tested against a number of the ONC’s 2014 Meaningful Use Criteria and was successfully issued a certification for that criteria in February of this year.

As an accredited Voting System Test Lab (VSTL), SLI will be in attendance for the emerging trends in voting system technology conversation in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Februrary 26-28. The symposium will provide an environment for interactive discussions among the attendees including election officials, voting system manufacturers, voting system test laboratories, standard developers, academics, and Federal, State, and local government officials.
SLI will be in attendance at the National Association of State Election Directors Winter Meeting held this year in Washington DC, January 24-26. This annual meeting gives the opportunity for NASED members to learn about the latest election issues, share information, and network among those in the elections community.
SLI Global Solutions has been selected by Hart InterCivic as their Voting System Test Lab (VSTL) for testing to the VVSG 2005 requirements for the Verity Voting 1.0 System. The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) completed the review of the application package and has approved.
The State of Iowa’s Department of Human Services (DHS) has entered into a multi-year contract with SLI to deliver Quality Assurance services for their Integrated Eligibility System Project known as Eligibility Integrated Application Solution (ELIAS). DHS also included a staff augmentation component to the contract in which SLI is assisting with the technical, testing, and risk management aspects of the project.
SLI will be attending the Colorado Information Management Association (CIMA) "2012 Fall Conference - Working in the Clouds" November 7-9, in Colorado Springs. This educational event is specifically created for Government Information Technology within the State of Colorado.
SLI, a leading provider of government IT risk management services, has signed a new contract with the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) to conduct Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) assessments of the design, development, and implementation of the Business Application Modernization (BAM) Project. The three-year contract includes two one-year optional renewal periods.
