SLI Global Solutions, a leading Quality Assurance and Software Testing company, is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our existing SLI Government Solutions team for a Medicaid Eligibility Systems project. This is a Road Warrior position that will travel between Wyoming and Puerto Rico.
The Senior Consultant is responsible for assessing processes and products associated with the delivery of large system development projects.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Works independently as a subject matter expert, providing advice to other team members, as needed
Works closely with the business, technical, and management teams of both the client and the implementation vendor to understand the contracts, roles, and objectives of the project and all partners of the project
Evaluates the approach, performance and progress made in a project, and identifies and articulates the observations, findings, risks, and issues
Identifies and provides mitigation strategies for project risks and alternative approaches for handling negative findings or issues
Prepares clear, concise, and objective reports of findings, observations, and recommendations
Makes periodic presentations on status and progress of the project to executive level management
Reviews test cases and reports the outcomes of the test execution
Validates test results and provides recommendations as to the impact of test results on the acceptability of the system
Develops and maintain spreadsheets, databases, documents, etc. that are needed to support the assessment work products
Performs other duties, as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:
A minimum of 8 years experience as senior quality assurance analyst, IV&V analyst, or a similar position
Knowledge of one or more government Health and Human Service programs, including Child Welfare, Medicaid, Child Care, Child Support Enforcement, Integrated Eligibility, or Labor is required
Knowledge of the components of Software Development Life Cycle and best practices required
Knowledge of multi-project integration programs, NoSQL, and multi-system data consolidation efforts is preferred
Previous experience with requirements management, including validation and traceability
Previous experience with software testing, including planning, execution, and reporting
Experience and proficiency in preparing planning documents and written reports
Proven ability to report observations, conclusions, and make recommendations for improvements
Strong interpersonal skills, including interacting with clients/prospective clients
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and collaborative team environment
Ability to work independently
Experience with MS tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
