SLI Global Solutions, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to lead multiple project tracks on a large Integrated Eligibility project.  The Project Manager will lead and direct staff from the client and be the first point of contact for the client.

 Since 1996, SLI Global Solutions has been helping customers manage their technology risks and investments. SLI provides software testing, quality assurance (QA), and independent verification and validation (IV&V) for commercial and government agency clients that are based upon our proprietary quality management methodology, SQM3.  


Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):

  • Responsible for managing multiple project tracks at once as assigned.  Examples of project tracks are User Acceptance Testing, Interface Development and Implementation, Communications Planning, Training, Organization Change Management, Implementation Planning, Post-Implementation Planning
  • Work with the track team to develop the work breakdown structure for the track and develop associated time and cost estimates
  • Monitor progress against the work schedule and make corrections as necessary
  • Identify and manage risks and issues as they develop
  • Communicate progress of activities to the Management and stakeholders and propose solutions for problems that develop
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer staff
  • Produce internal and client facing status reports
  • Develop and distribute meeting agendas in advance, lead meetings as appropriate and produce and distribute minutes from the meetings
  • Engage in change control processes as defined by the project
  • Collaborate with client team to collect, create, present, maintain, and store knowledge transfer assets
  • Maintain solid understanding of project management best practices, methodologies and terminology


 Required Education and Other Credentials:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Business or other relevant field
  • Diploma in IT and/or Business with Equivalent IT Experience
  • Industry recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 10+ yrs working in Project Management
  • Minimum 5+ yrs individually leading project  teams
  • Minimum 5+ yrs working in Business/IT Sector
  • Minimum 4+ yrs working with a Project Management system (at least 2yrs with MS Project)
